LoopNet give us a look at the Multi-Unit Residential Market in Walnut Creek and Contra Costa County

2012 looks like it may be the year of the Multi-Unit Residential Investment property.  

Rents are high and rising and property inventory in the rental market is very low.  Even the low inventory level in the resale market is adding to the rise in rents.  

Couple that with very low interest rates and you have a recepy for good return on your investment.  The trends in Office Space, Industrial, and Retail aren't as rosey.

All I can ask for are more properties to sell.
